We don't always have 10 minutes to get lots of smoothie ingredients prepped, this is an easy one...
As much as I love my green smoothies, I'm conscious of two things:
- I don't always have the time to make one (I am going to start making frozen smoothie 'grab bags' soon)
- I want to make them as low (naturally occurring) sugar as I can.
Well, here's probably the fastest smoothie I can make that still rocks and my boys will still happily devour! You only need to peel a lime (and an avocado if you haven't got any frozen ones), then chuck everything in the blender and blend away for 45 seconds or so. I hope you like it too!
|1 cup frozen mixed berries|
|1 avocado (frozen or fresh)|
|2 cups kale|
|1 lime, peeled|
|300ml water (to taste)|
1. Add all ingredients to blender and blend for 45 seconds. Devour.
