There's no such thing as leftovers with a smoothie maker in the house! This is a tropical feast.
I used half a small tin of pineapple rings in a recipe and I wondered what to do with the rest - that would be a tropical green smoothie then! Waste not want not and all that ;-)
This is a zingy tropical feast of a green smoothie - not low in naturally occurring sugar though so one to avoid if you're trying to be sugar-free.
|1 large handful spinach|
|2 pineapple rings & juice from can|
|300 ml coconut water|
|1 small frozen banana|
|1 kiwi, peeled|
|1 lime, peeled|
|1 tbsp chia seeds, soaked in a little water for 5 minutes|
Add all ingredients and blend well for 30 to 60 seconds.
